This is the first time I’m opening the Amplified experience as a certified training and initiation.
Amplified Yoga was never something I set out to “create” — it was born organically from the convergence of my deepest passions: Yoga, kundalini, meditation, movement, music, mantra, energy, and the possibility of transformation and self-realization.
It was born unintentionally at Wanderlust Hollywood, growing organically through word of mouth, one experience at a time. From packed classes in Los Angeles to thousands of people on main stages at global music festivals in collaboration with some of the best DJs in the world, Amplified became what it is because people felt it and needed it.
Now, for the first time, I’m offering a small group the opportunity to go behind the curtain, train with me directly, and, for those who are ready, step into this work as official Amplifiers with full support to share this modality out in the world.

Unlike other teacher trainings that focus on physical alignment or theory-heavy lecture formats, Amplified is about embodied transformation.
You will not only learn how to teach, you’ll become a lighthouse of the Amplified methodology.. You’ll walk away as a more magnetic, expressed version of yourself.
For those called to teach, this training is a full initiation. You’ll be empowered to carry the method forward with access to brand assets, curated music, class structures, and continued mentorship.

This is a call for leaders, healers, truth-speakers, and those who want to uplift, empower, and heal people and themselves in a way that is fun, fast, and joyful to share.

The Training
November 1 – 8, 2024 | Joshua Tree Retreat Center, California
For seven full days, you will be held in the vast, healing energy of the Joshua Tree Retreat Center — a sanctuary nestled in the high desert, surrounded by nature’s stillness and magic.
This immersive experience is designed to support your deepest expansion. Each day blends rigorous training with soulful integration:
- Practices that awaken the body, voice, and kundalini energy.
- Exploration of Kundalini kriyas, mantras, meditations, and philosophy
- Deep dives into Amplified Yoga’s science, sound, and movement
- Facilitated sessions with Donovan, you, and other participants to embody and practice leading with presence and power.
- Practice with a live DJ to feel the collaborative musical journey.
- Group meditations, mantra, breathwork, and visualization to be an embodied Amplified yoga teacher.
- Time in nature for grounding, reflection, and rest.
- Gatherings for making friends, building our community, sharing, and integration.
This week is more than a curriculum. It’s a full, energetic transmission.
You’ll be asked to shed what no longer serves you, embody your highest vibration, and step fully into your role as a conduit of truth, healing, and pure authenticity.
By the end of this week, you’ll not only know Amplified Yoga — you’ll become an Amplifier!

The Joshua Tree Retreat Center & Accommodations
This training takes place at the sacred Joshua Tree Retreat Center, a serene and magical space located in the high desert of Southern California. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright’s son, Lloyd Wright, the land and structures are intentionally aligned with sacred geometry to enhance healing and expansion. Home to Bhakti Fest for over a decade and host to countless world-renowned spiritual teachers and transformational leaders, this center holds a lineage of depth, devotion, and awakening. Surrounded by ancient rock formations, energetic vortexes, and open skies, this land invites spaciousness, grounding, and connection to nature’s quiet power.
Accommodations:
Meals: Three nourishing meals a day are included, prepared with care to support your body and mind throughout this deep journey.
Rooms: You can choose between single rooms or shared rooms — rustic, simple, clean, and comfortable spaces designed for rest and integration.
Alternative Accommodations:
For those seeking a bit more luxury, a limited number of charming bungalows on the property are available for separate booking. These fill up quickly, so act fast if this appeals to you.
If you prefer to find your accommodations, there are plenty of options nearby, including Airbnb rentals, camping spots, or other local stays — do what feels best for your comfort and budget.

Who is Donovan?
Donovan is the founder of Amplified Yoga, and for over two decades, he has traveled the world sharing his powerful, heart-centered approach to transformation. With a deep personal practice and a passion for working with people, Donovan has guided thousands through his dynamic blend of ancient yogic technology and modern energy, in settings ranging from main stage festivals to corporate events and private retreats.
His journey began in 1996 with a single yoga class in New York City that sparked an unshakable devotion. He completed his first teacher training at the Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center that same year and went on to study and become certified in Jivamukti, Ashtanga, Anusara, and Kundalini. Over decades of teaching, Donovan synthesized these traditions into the Amplified method—a fun, cathartic, and instantly transformational experience.
Donovan has collaborated with leading names in wellness, including Wanderlust, Equinox, Daybreaker, Unplug Meditation, Mindvalley, and more. He also serves as a distinguished faculty member at places like the Esalen Institute and continues to grow Amplified Yoga by training and initiating new facilitators to share the method around the world.
Authentic, uplifting, and deeply experienced, Donovan brings a rare combination of wisdom and presence that empowers people to amplify the greatest parts of themselves, wherever they meet him.
